“Swiss SMEs don't lose tenders because they're bad bidders — they lose because they never see the right ones in time. Watching a founder ask Claude and get a tailored shortlist back was the moment this clicked for me.”

Frequently asked questions

What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?

MCP is an open standard from Anthropic for connecting AI agents to live data sources. With TenderLift MCP, any MCP-compatible client — Claude, Cursor, Codex, ChatGPT (rolling out) — can search Swiss procurement data, summarize tenders, and score fit directly inside your AI conversation.

Which AI tools work with TenderLift MCP?

Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, and Codex are supported today over remote HTTP. ChatGPT support is rolling out as OpenAI ships native Connectors for self-hosted MCP servers. Any MCP-compatible client that accepts a remote URL can be wired up.

Do I need a paid TenderLift plan?

Yes — MCP access is included on every paid plan (Basic, Growth, National). The free trial includes MCP, so you can try it before committing.

Is this the same data as the TenderLift app?

Yes. MCP exposes the same Swiss procurement intelligence as the web app — every SIMAP notice, every canton, every CPV code. Bid review, fit scoring, buyer profiles, and tender history are all queryable.

Where is my data processed?

TenderLift runs on Swiss-hosted infrastructure (Hetzner Falkenstein VPS + Cloudflare edge). MCP traffic terminates in CH/EU regions. Your queries and your AI client's responses stay in your AI client; TenderLift only sees the lookups you make. See our <a href="/privacy" class="underline hover:text-secondary">privacy policy</a> for the full revFADP/GDPR posture.

Can I limit what my AI agent can do?

Yes. Every API key is scoped (tenders:read, companies:read, documents:read, and so on). Read-only is the default. You can issue narrower keys for specific use cases and revoke any of them from Settings → Integrations.

How fast does it return results?

Most queries return in under a second from cache. Fresh searches and complex multi-step analyses (for example, fit-scoring across hundreds of tenders) can take a few seconds. The MCP server streams partial results where the client supports it.
