Refunds & Cancellations

1. Free Trial
- Duration: 14 days from account creation.
- No credit card required: Start without payment details.
- Full access: All features available during the trial.
- End of trial: The trial ends automatically with no charge. You can subscribe any time from within the app.
2. Subscriptions
- Start of paid service: A subscription begins only when you complete payment via our Stripe-hosted Checkout.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) unless cancelled before renewal.
- Billing cadence:
- Monthly plans: Billed on the same day each month.
- Annual plans: Billed on the anniversary date each year.
- Payments & currency: Payments are processed by Stripe. All prices are in CHF, excl. VAT where applicable.
3. How to Cancel
Billing Portal (recommended):
- Log in to your TenderLift account
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Manage Subscription to open the Billing Portal
- Select Cancel subscription and confirm
Email (assisted): Send a request from your registered email to billing@tenderlift.ch.
Effective date:
- Monthly plans: Cancellation is effective at the end of the current month.
- Annual plans: Effective at the end of the current year.
- Access continues until the end of the paid period.
4. Refund Policy
General: We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time.
Plan downgrades: If applicable, prorated credits may be applied to future invoices automatically by Stripe.
Exceptions (at our discretion or where required by law):
- Service-wide technical issues that prevent use for an extended period
- Duplicate charges or billing errors
How to request: Email billing@tenderlift.ch with your account email and details.
- We aim to respond within 3 business days.
- Approved refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days.
5. Plan Changes
Upgrades: Take effect immediately; any prorated amount may be charged for the remainder of the current period. The new rate applies from the next cycle.
Downgrades: Take effect at the next billing cycle; current features remain available until then. Any applicable credits are applied to future invoices.
6. Pausing Subscriptions
We don't currently support pausing. You may cancel at any time and resubscribe later.
7. Data Retention After Cancellation
- 30 days: Your data remains available for export.
- After 30 days: We delete account data.
- Reactivation: Contact us within 30 days to restore access.
